Idyllic 2 Bedroom Self-Contained UpsideDown Annexe

A lovely upside-down self-contained annexe in the heart of rural Mid Wales, benefitting from the most amazing views.  We are a two-minute walk from Llanbister Road Train Station on the scenic Heart of Wales line  and we are on the 825 cycle route.  Elan Valley is also nearby. Llanbister Road is a tiny, peaceful Mid-Powys hamlet with three local farms and amazing views. A ten-minute walk takes you to the beautiful Common. If the sky is clear at night, the stars are a beautiful sight to see. During the day, you will find roaming sheep and an area with a stream. The wildlife here is fantastic and locals are all friendly and helpful. The annexe is self-contained and you have your own sheltered patio area outside. You are welcome to say hello to the five hens round the corner. However, please note the gated back gardens are private and please do not open the gates. The front garden is for access only. We will be available each day from 9 am to 10.30 am and 4.30 pm to 6 pm. Please knock at the main door and we will be happy to help in any way we can. However, if you know we are around at other times during the day, please don't hesitate to come and see us. We will however respect your privacy during your visit. Llanbister Road is the most beautiful, peaceful place to live. The main sounds are birds, sheep and owls at night at certain times of the year. If you want a peaceful night's sleep, you have come to the right place. The main traffic along the country lanes is tractors or a herd of sheep passing by. Although there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, there is a local pub, The Greyhound Inn, in Llangunllo, two-and-a-half miles away. We are 9 miles from Knighton and 12 miles from the award-winning spa town of Llandrindod Wells.  Both have places to eat and supermarkets. Scroll to the bottom of the home page for addresses and opening times. These can be accessed by car or cycle and on the Heart of Wales train line. There are beautiful local walks and nearby towns for shopping or visiting attractions . The Heart of Wales trains are single or double carriages, five trains per day each way, running from Shrewsbury to Swansea.  Please note Llanbister Road Train Station is a request stop. We have STARLINK SATELLITE FAST INTERNET! Sky TV in living room and double bedroom. A complimentary freshly-baked loaf of your choice (white or wholemeal ) will be provided for stays of five or more nights. We hope you enjoy our welcome hamper.  A selection of breakfast cereals is also provided, plus milk, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, sauces and cooking oil. Ideal for four adults or a family.  Please also note the bathroom is actually a shower room with toilet, hand basin and electric shower and shower cubicle. As the shower room has ceramic floor tiles, guest slippers are provided for your comfort. There is a selection of books in the lift-up pouffe for your leisure during your stay.  We have a very friendly chocolate labrador who has no access at all to your area, as we appreciate not everyone likes dogs.
